We keep it all hurricane in this Weather Tidbits. A hurricane consists of spiral rain bands, an eyewall and an eye. Most tropical cyclones last a few days, but some can last for a few weeks. They usually weaken by either encountering cooler waters, dry air, high wind shear or by making landfall.
